Welcome to Not So Glamorous!

I've been considering launching this project for some time, but only recently decided to take the plunge.

Last year, I realized that numerous entrepreneurs and creators have established businesses and scaled them to impressive levels, covering various sectors and niches.

They’re excelling in tech, consumer brands, non-profits, law, medicine, and beyond.

But there’s only one issue.

Often, we only witness the highlights of people's journey to success, such as the filtered Instagram pictures and TikTok videos, luxurious office spaces, and frequent travels, as well as the impressive amounts of money they earn.

But we very seldom see how they got to where they are.

How they set up their LLC on day one, how they crafted their business models and landing pages, and how they conducted their product development and ultimately grew their companies.

Many of us are unaware of the challenges involved in acquiring the first 100 customers or the first 1000 fans, and the mistakes that may have been made during this process.

We don’t get to see the marketing tactics or hiring strategies that successful companies have employed to scale their operations today.

These entrepreneurs and creators have also acquired a multitude of self-development and financial investment skills throughout their journey. Unfortunately, these skills are not widely disclosed.

It's not only about learning how to overcome imposter syndrome and figuring out how to “have it all.”

It's also about the lessons learned throughout the journey, such as speaking more eloquently, displaying confidence through body language, and negotiating with greater conviction.

It’s about growing your self-esteem and putting yourself out there.

Although many entrepreneurs and creators share certain aspects of their business, I have yet to find a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to the highs and lows of building a business in this Instagram-glossed world.

Until now.

With Not So Glamorous, we’ll dive into step-by-step frameworks for building a business from the ground up. We’ll look at self-development and productivity strategies to become a better leader. And finally, we’ll shed light on the behind-the-scenes of life as an entrepreneur, featuring insights from successful business owners who have been through it all.

I’m so excited to be starting this journey with you.

It’s time to uncover the good, the bad, and the not-so-glamorous aspects of building great things.
