- Michael Phelps got caught smoking weed. A note to all of you who occasionally dabble in recreational drug use - don’t ever let anyone take any photos of you doing drugs. They will come back. Whether you are famous and it ruins multi-million dollar endorsement deals or you aren’t famous but your kids find the photo in an old box 20 years from now.
- Is Britney’s tour in trouble? Methinks not. Earlier today the internet was buzzing with the idea that she will cancel her tour if she can’t have her kiddies with her. While this is probably true, she has enough money to offer K-Fed to make this happen. Why would he fight it? Well, he won’t and he’s not. Him and Papa Spears worked out a deal where he’d live with the kids in locations near tour stops in exchange for cold, hard cash. The only problem lies in the fact that K-Fed’s lawyers wanted to be part of the deal - aka they wanted a piece of B’s cash, too. All parties are discussing it again and they’ll likely come to a deal soon.
- In other Britney news, it’s been revealed that B got that restraining order against Sam Lufti because he contacted her and tried to convince her that he should be her new conservator and that she was never really crazy in the first place. Oh, and also that if she lets him back in her life, he’ll help her get full custody of her kids. Scum.
- Amy Winehouse has given her parents control of her money. Maybe her forever vacation is doing wonders for her. Last week she got a job, this week she’s making responsible choices. “They tried to make me go to rehab and I said…maybe. Let me go to St. Lucia first.”
- Lisa Loeb got hitched. I never tire of hearing “Stay”. Congrats! Here’s hoping he will.
- Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson got in another public fight this weekend. I’m starting to think they stage these fights.
- Christian Bale has a temper. We all knew that already, but now TMZ has an audio clip of him going off on the director of photography of “Terminator Salvation” after he accidentally walked onto the set and ruined a shot. It’s kind of amazing to listen to. I always forget he’s Welsh. Click here to listen to it. He drops the F bomb about 100 times so you might not want to listen to it at work.
